This guide is for Directors on how to approve a schedule and manage schedules in the LJ Portal. Follow the steps below to become familiar with the edit schedule page.
1. Navigate to the Schedule Management Page
- Log in to the LJ Portal.
- Click the hamburger menu (☰) to open the Human Resources menu.
- Select Manage Schedule
2. Create a New Schedule
- On the Schedules page, select Approve on the schedule you want.
- You will be navigated to the ‘Approve Schedule’ page. Hit Approve
3. Confirm
After approving the schedule, you will be redirected to the Schedules page and will be able to see the schedule is no longer editable. It is ready to be used as a timesheet.
Important notes:
- Once a schedule has been approved it cannot be edited. If you need to make changes, copy the approved schedule and make changes to the copy instead. After that, verify it to be approved to be used as a timesheet.
- If you want to make changes to a verified schedule as a supervisor, request your director to re-open the schedule.
